Some fantastic views from this cafe which has an authentic Tapas restaurant below it with great views out to sea all owned by the same family. This must be the only place in the UK where a vanilla ice cream 🍦 topped with high quality Devon clotted cream at onl £1 yep a pound and it's not small either. Stunning area and new public toilets only 2 mins walk away, while the sea is right in front of you for that swim.
- Parking
- There is plenty of paid parking along the sea front, disabled parking is free in any bay, but make sure your badge is on display . This though is a extremely popular with locals and finding a space on the upper sea front can be difficult. Disabled drivers can park free on the promenade between 9am and 4 pm everyday with ramp access to the main sea front.

Have been coming back here for years. The view over Plymouth Sound and the surrounding area is amazing. Always friendly service and seating is usually available. Hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, a tasty treat with a wonderful view.
Good coffee, lovely bun and friendly service. What more could you want other than sunshine. Great views to across Plymouth Sound.
Long queues on a hot day for the Special icecream: vanilla cornet with clotted cream on top for £1 Amazing view of the Sound whilst enjoying them.

It was bang on finishing time which I hadn't realised but instead of just snapping we're closed like most businesses do these days, the 2 very friendly & chatty gentlemen working there were happy to serve ice cream to my kids & waited patiently while they dithered (as kids do!) about what flavour to have. It's a shame to say but it's hard to come by top customer service anymore but not here, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Will be returning & recommending 😊- Price per person

Beautiful spot to have a coffee and enjoy the view. They offered their big wheelie bin to me when the saw me bringing litter up from the beach below.

Lovely place to snack and have your favourite coffee with a great view over Plymouth Sound. If available you can order and eat their wonderful Chicken and Chorizo Pealla at a very reasonable price. The Coffe Shack is my favourite go to place. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
